MEASURE registry completes inclusion: 1.032 patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage
We are proud to share that the MEASURE registry successfully included 1.032 spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) patients. Patients were enrolled between February 2024 and May 2026 in all nine tertiary SAH referral centers in the Netherlands.
We are grateful to the patients and their families, who agreed to take part in the registry. We also thank the local PI’s, research nurses and researchers in all nine centers, the core lab members, and the MEASURE coordinating team. Reaching this number in just over two years shows what nationwide collaboration can achieve.
Follow-up is ongoing: the final 6 months follow-up assessments will be completed in November 2026 and the final 18 months assessments in November 2027.
The main analysis will address procedure-related complications in the treatment of ruptured aneurysms in the subgroup of patients who underwent aneurysm treatment.
Research proposals using MEASURE data can be submitted to the Data Access and Writing Committee (DAWC) via this link.
